UDA ANNUAL GALA FUNDRAISER 2011

The annual UDA fundraising gala, Urban Nights brought in $65,000. MaeLin sits as the event co-chairman along with Paul Ryan. Working within a loosely interpretive "Old Hollywood" theme, Visual Asylum interns; Jill Bennett, Leanna Jones, Jayoung Kim did an amazing job designing the event, including invitation package, signage, and decor! We had additional help installing from design students; Amanda, Catherine, Heber, John and Claire.

THE VISUAL ASYLUM TEAM CREATED PROJECTS THAT RAISED OVER $4,000 FOR THE SCHOOL. 

MaeLin and Jason Janus worked with design interns, Jill Bennett, Jayoung Kim, Amanda Guest and Leanna Jones to create artwork with the kids at UDA that helped bring in over $4,000 for the school. Working with Ms. Korovec’s 2nd Grade, we created a quilt with class self portraits, and unique furniture pieces with hand prints from students from Ms. Romero’s Kinder class andMrs. Fisher’s first graders.
